The TCJC Charitable Contributions Fund
It's a long name with a simple idea. We created the TCJC, Inc. Charitable Contributions Fund, or the CCF for short, as a way to further our commitment toward helping our less fortunate community members throughout the year. The idea that we can help those who may otherwise go without has been an important goal of the club since its inception. The CCF is a tax-exempt organization with IRS 501(c)(3) charitable organization status. We are able to offer contributors a receipt for their tax-deductible donation to our organization and assist local charities too. It's a win-win situation for contributors.
The CCF has participated in environmental clean-ups, given our time to a local organization that aids adults with Down's syndrome, donated cash and food to a local soup kitchen that receives no assistance other than donations from the public, donated our time to park cars at a local toy distribution event and held our own toy drive. We look forward to being able to help many more groups in need throughout the year.
Our 1st Annual Jeep Show-n-Shine was held on March 1st. Our sponsors came through with some great raffle prizes and along with our members, made the show a success. We were able to raise over $2000.00 and we distributed profits from the show among three local charitable organizations in need.
